Meet OUR PASTOR

Dr. Stanley Fuller is the proud pastor of Real Power AME Church in Upper Marlboro, MD. He is the former pastor of Star of Bethlehem AME Church in Baltimore City. Dr. Fuller previously served as the Executive Minister at the Mount Calvary African Methodist Church in Towson, Maryland. Prior to that he was the Pastor of the Historic Grace Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. 

 

Dr. Fuller has held several secular positions that have gained him national attention.  Most recently he was the Director of Baltimore City’s Eastside Career Center.  He was also the State of Maryland’s Administrator for Fatherhood Initiatives and was Deputy Director of the Healthy Start Program.

 

Dr. Fuller has appeared on television and radio broadcast to discuss issues such as African American Men, Youth Violence, Parenting, Adolescent Parenting, Economic Development and other issues facing the African American community. 

 

Dr. Fuller is a founding member of the African American Fatherhood Collective.

 

Dr. Fuller is a Fellow and a distinguished graduate of the Graduate Theological Foundation, Oxford University (England) where he received his doctorate of ministry degree.  Dr. Fuller received a Master’s of Theology from the Ecumenical Institute at St. Mary’s Seminary in Maryland, and his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.

 

Dr. Fuller is married to Dr. Ann Lightner-Fuller, retired Pastor of Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church, Towson, MD.
